1) Why can’t I view my paychecks prior to 2005?
During the upgrade to 9.1, payroll data prior to 2005 was archived.
The IRS does not require us to maintain payroll data beyond 2005.
Therefore, paychecks older than 2005, are no longer able to be viewed.
Year to date totals are still available for all years back to 1996 and
can be viewed by clicking the ”View YTD Totals” link on the “View Paycheck” page.

2) What does the “View YTD Totals” link do?
The “View YTD Totals” link is at the top of the page when viewing your paycheck.
Upon clicking the “View YTD Totals” link, you will see a search page where you can
search by “Balances for Year” or Balances for Period”. The balances for each
year & period (month) of your employment are available back to 1996.

3) When I click “View a Different Paycheck”
while viewing my paycheck, I am presented with a list of paychecks to select from.
Why can’t I click on the boxes under the PDF File column?
The PDF file
functionality is “turned off”. The .pdf paycheck does not add value to the printable
paycheck we currently have. The file needs customizations to add the JMU look and feel
and requires Payroll to run additional business processes each pay cycle. Select the date
for the check you wish to view from the “Check Date” column.
4) Where is the “Printable Paycheck” link on View Paycheck?
The “Printable Paycheck” link has been removed. Please see instructions below on how
to print from the page. Printouts may vary depending on the browser and printer settings.
