Clear Cache in Internet Explorer 6.0

Follow these steps below to clear the cache in Internet Explorer 6.0:

  1. Click Tools - Internet Options
  2. Select General Tab
  3. Click the Settings Button under Temporary Internet Files grouping
  4. Set Check for newer versions of stored pages to - Every Visit to the page.
    More Details: Set Caching to Every Visit to the page
  5. Click Ok
  6. Delete all cookies by clicking Delete Cookies button in Temporary Internet Files grouping and Clicking Ok.
  7. Delete all offline content by Clicking Delete Files Button under Temporary Internet Files grouping and Check ON checkbox for Delete all offline content and click Ok
  8. Clear History by clicking the Clear History button under the History grouping.
  9. Click Yes to the Are you sure question.
  10. Click Ok

Follow these steps below to clear the cache in Internet Explorer 7:

  1. Click Tools - Internet Options.
  2. Select General Tab.
  3. Click the Settings button under Browsing History.
  4. Set Check for newer versions of stored pages to "Every time I visit the webpage."

  5. Click OK.
  6. Click the Delete button under Browsing History.
  7. Click the Delete All button.
  8. Put a check in the checkbox "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons."
  9. Click the Yes button.
  10. When it is finished, click OK.

Clear Cache in Firefox

Follow these steps below to empty the cache in Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox browser.
  2. From the menu at the top click on Tools and then select Clear Private Data.
  3. On the Clear Private Data dialog box, ensure that the checkbox for Cache is checked. Do take note that other boxes being checked will result in those actions being implemented.
  4. Click Clear Private Data Now.
